Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential and commercial settings.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on electrical systems and equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, and other electrical components.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper tool storage and cleanup.
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; however, a strong desire to learn is essential.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to obtain required state licensure or certifications as training progresses.
