Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot lighting, outlets, and wiring fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all installations comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and project managers regarding job progress.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License required (Apprentice license with 2+ years experience considered).
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on a part-time schedule.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, climb, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
