Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues using schematic diagrams and testing equipment.
- Ensure all work is in strict compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Prepare detailed job site reports and maintain accurate time logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical concepts clearly and ensuring project timelines are met.
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and testing devices safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; Technical certification or completion of an apprenticeship program is highly preferred.
- Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician license in the state of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in electrical work.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision and safety.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
