Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical circuits.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, malfunctions, and system failures efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding progress and any necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in residential or commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and understand electrical blueprints and specifications.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
