Job Summary:
As a Part-Time Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work in residential and commercial settings. You will adhere to all local and national electrical codes while ensuring the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan layouts.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system failures efficiently.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential hazards and maintenance needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or active Apprentice license with proof of journeyman status.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and power distribution.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
