Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to determine the best installation approach.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues quickly and accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License or significant apprenticeship experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
