Responsibilities
- Inspect and Test: Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure they are installed, maintained, and operating in compliance with local and national safety codes (NEC).
- Install Wiring: Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using appropriate tools and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues quickly and accurately to minimize downtime for clients.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, providing clear explanations of work required and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Complete accurate job logs, time sheets, and safety reports as required by company policy.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep personal tools and work area clean, organized, and in good working condition.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Journeyman or Apprentice Electrician License in the State of New York.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Own or reliable access to a comprehensive set of hand and power tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
