Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installations, including wiring, lighting, and power distribution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and system malfunctions efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and clients regarding project progress and any issues.
- Assist in the preparation of job sites and ensure all safety protocols are in place before commencing work.
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and power systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Current Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for logging time and documenting work.
