Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan installation and repair tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and provide efficient solutions to clients.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies regarding electrical safety.
- Assist in mentoring junior apprentices and training staff on proper techniques.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License issued by the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Proven ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
- Current valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
