Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and complex wiring diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems to resolve issues efficiently and safely.
- Install, maintain, and repair lighting fixtures, outlets, switchgear, and panelboards.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Document all work completed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Certified Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, power distribution, and grounding systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
