Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
- Install and maintain water heaters, sump pumps, and backflow prevention devices
- Perform drain cleaning services using hydro-jetting and mechanical equipment
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications for plumbing layouts
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with NYC building codes
- Provide clear communication to clients regarding service requirements and costs
- Maintain service vehicles and inventory of plumbing tools/materials
Qualifications
- Valid New York State plumbing license required
- Minimum 3 years of residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency in pipefitting, fixture installation, and drain cleaning
- Familiarity with NYC plumbing codes and permit processes
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing issues
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Must pass background check and drug screening
