Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes efficiently
- Perform emergency repairs for burst pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures with minimal disruption to clients
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of plumbing installations and renovations
- Adhere strictly to NYC building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance standards
- Provide expert consultation to clients on plumbing system optimization and energy-efficient solutions
- Maintain detailed service records and inventory of materials used for accurate billing and reporting
Qualifications
- Valid New York State Plumbing License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on plumbing experience with residential and commercial systems
- Proficiency in installing, repairing, and servicing water heaters, boilers, and HVAC plumbing components
- Strong knowledge of NYC plumbing codes, blueprints, and technical specifications
- Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues independently
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and handle heavy equipment/tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site travel across NYC boroughs
