Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including leaks, clogs, and fixture installations
- Install water heaters, garbage disposals, and pipe networks to code
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections for residential clients
- Collaborate with team on emergency calls and weekend service requests
- Maintain accurate service logs and inventory of materials
- Ensure all work meets Michigan plumbing codes and safety standards
- Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers
Qualifications
- Michigan state plumbing license (required)
- 3+ years residential plumbing experience
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair and hydro-jetting
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes and permit processes
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing issues
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Customer-focused communication and problem-solving abilities
