Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Install and repair water heaters, sewage systems, and drainage fixtures.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide solutions.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Plumber License (required) or equivalent significant experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Illinois.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
