Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layouts and wiring sequences.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and identify root causes of faults.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical information clearly to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in the State of Illinois.
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience in commercial and residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.
- Valid forklift certification (if applicable to facility).
