Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and provide effective solutions
- Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent future plumbing problems
- Collaborate with senior plumbers on complex projects and emergency repairs
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication with homeowners
- Keep detailed service records and maintain clean work environments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in confined spaces
- Willingness to attend paid training programs and earn plumbing certifications
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and safety procedures
