Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems in residential properties. You will work closely with our lead technicians to complete service calls, installations, and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using multimeters and test equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with local Houston building codes and National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues in a clear and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, including job sites and personal tools.
- Complete accurate job reports and timecards for each shift.
Qualifications
- License: Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Texas is preferred. Apprentice licenses will be considered for entry-level roles.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in residential electrical work.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams, circuit theory, and safety protocols.
- Tools: Ability to provide your own basic hand tools or demonstrate proficiency with company tools.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Driving: Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
