Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform basic pipe fitting, threading, and soldering under close supervision.
- Locate and identify underground pipes and wires using electronic locators.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, strictly adhering to all safety regulations.
- Interact with customers professionally, explaining issues and solutions clearly.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Study blueprints and diagrams to understand project requirements and layout.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not strictly required if you have strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and cutting materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
