Responsibilities
- Assist licensed journeyman plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
- Perform basic pipefitting, including cutting, threading, and joining pipes.
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces.
- Transport materials and tools to and from job sites safely.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and local plumbing codes.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
Qualifications
- No prior plumbing experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating.
- Strong desire to learn and succeed in the skilled trades industry.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
