Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install and maintain water heaters, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues and provide cost estimates.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while working on-site.
- Operate and maintain a variety of plumbing tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and obtain necessary plumbing certifications (on-the-job training available for no-experience candidates).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites in the Detroit area.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
