Responsibilities
- Assist licensed plumbers in residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Learn and apply plumbing codes, safety protocols, and best practices
- Operate and maintain hand/power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery
- Perform pipe fitting, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting under supervision
- Document work orders, material usage, and project progress
- Participate in emergency call-out services as needed
- Complete state-mandated apprenticeship coursework and certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Basic math and measurement skills for material calculations
- Willingness to complete background checks and drug screenings
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Reliable transportation to job sites across LA County
- Commitment to 4-year apprenticeship program completion
