Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Plumbers: Learn to perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation tasks under supervision.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep all tools and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas, remove debris, and ensure job sites are safe and compliant.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients professionally, answer questions, and maintain a positive company image.
- Material Handling: Receive, unload, and inventory plumbing materials and supplies.
- Learning Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret basic plumbing schematics and blueprints.
- Adherence to Safety: Always follow OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License: Must be able to drive to job sites across the Fort Worth area.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: Strong desire to master plumbing trade skills; no prior experience required.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements, fractions, and basic calculations.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work full-time hours.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with team members and customers.
