Responsibilities
- Assist licensed journeyman plumbers with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, laying out necessary pipes, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Perform basic pipe cutting, threading, and fitting under direct supervision.
- Clean work areas and vehicles daily to maintain a professional appearance.
- Respond to customer inquiries politely and assist in providing a high level of customer service.
- Learn to read blueprints and understand local plumbing codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record is required.
- Physical stamina and strength; ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material needs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local Houston office.
- A strong desire to learn the trade and a positive attitude towards safety.
