Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Plumbers: Support the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn Pipefitting: Gain hands-on experience with pipe cutting, threading, and soldering under supervision.
- Blueprint Reading: Study and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
- Site Preparation: Prepare work areas by gathering tools, materials, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Customer Service: Interact with clients, answer questions, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly clean, organize, and store tools and equipment after each use.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver's License required (for travel to job sites).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or outdoors.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and fractions.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn new techniques.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
