Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Diagnose and resolve complex pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture issues
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics for precise system layouts
- Ensure compliance with California plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Operate power tools, pipe cutters, and hydro-jetting equipment
- Provide emergency plumbing services during after-hours and weekends
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Submit detailed work reports and material usage documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid California Plumbing Contractor License (C-36)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe rehabilitation methods
- Expertise in backflow prevention device installation/repair
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug screening required
