Responsibilities
- Perform Residential Repairs: Diagnose and repair leaks, unclog drains, and fix toilets, faucets, and water heaters in residential settings.
- Install Plumbing Systems: Assist in the installation of new pipes, fixtures, and appliances according to local codes and manufacturer instructions.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional, friendly, and transparent service to homeowners, explaining issues and solutions clearly.
- Tool Maintenance: Properly use and maintain a variety of hand and power tools, including pipe wrenches, soldering torches, and pressure testers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Route Planning: Manage daily service calls efficiently to ensure timely arrivals and completions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Willingness to Learn: No prior plumbing experience is necessary; we provide hands-on training for the right candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in tight spaces, and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
