Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems for water, gas, and drainage in residential and commercial properties.
- Diagnose and resolve complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts, using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Locate and mark positions for pipes, fixtures, and equipment, and cut openings in walls/floors for installation.
- Assemble, install, and test pipes, fittings, and valves using pipe cutters, threaders, and pipe wrenches.
- Perform regular maintenance checks to ensure system integrity and compliance with safety codes.
- Communicate professionally with customers to explain problems, provide estimates, and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working in tight spaces or outdoors.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating material quantities.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undergo on-the-job training for those with no prior experience.
