Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Assemble, install, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and piping systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Diagnosis: Troubleshoot and repair water leaks, clogged drains, and malfunctioning water heaters efficiently.
- Tools & Materials: Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete jobs accurately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, provide estimates, and explain repair options clearly.
- Site Prep: Prepare job sites by moving equipment and materials and ensuring work areas are clean and safe.
- Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of water supply, drainage, and other plumbing systems.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Entry-level candidates are welcome; we offer paid training and mentorship.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environments (hot, cold, confined spaces).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
