Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, drainage, and venting.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and leaks in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform quality inspections of work to ensure compliance with local and state building codes.
- Estimate material and labor costs for new plumbing projects.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing equipment and tools.
Qualifications
- Valid Michigan State Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional plumbing experience in a commercial or residential setting.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical stamina.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-outs.
