Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water heaters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, such as leaks, clogs, and low water pressure, using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan layout and installation.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and explaining technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on systems to ensure long-term functionality and prevent future failures.
- Respond to emergency service calls promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid North Carolina Journeyman Plumber License (Apprentice or Master status considered with 5+ years of experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in pipefitting, welding, and soldering techniques.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of plumbing issues.
