Responsibilities
- Installation & Repair: Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and appliances including water heaters, toilets, and sinks.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide effective, long-lasting solutions to customers.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in strict accordance with local, state, and national plumbing codes.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with residential and commercial clients, answering questions and explaining work clearly.
- Tools & Safety: Properly maintain tools and equipment, and strictly adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
- Waste Management: Ensure proper disposal of waste materials and maintain a clean, organized job site.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid driver's license is required; journeyman or apprentice license preferred but not mandatory for entry-level roles.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills to understand blueprints and safety manuals.
