Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install new plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and piping systems according to local codes and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency and prevent future issues.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and answer questions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to prioritize jobs and manage time efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while on-site.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber license or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential and commercial plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Pennsylvania.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
