Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair complex plumbing systems in luxury residential and commercial properties
- Perform weekend emergency call-outs with 24/7 on-call rotation
- Adhere to NYC plumbing codes and green building standards
- Lead pipefitting projects for new constructions and major renovations
- Diagnose hydraulic and drainage issues using advanced diagnostic tools
- Manage material inventory and coordinate with suppliers
- Mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols
- Document work orders and maintain client satisfaction records
Qualifications
- Valid NYC Master Plumber license (MP-001) with minimum 5 years experience
- Proven expertise in copper, PEX, and CPVC piping systems
- OSHA 30 certification and confined space training
- Experience with backflow prevention and water treatment systems
- Ability to read complex blueprints and hydraulic schematics
- Strong problem-solving skills under high-pressure scenarios
- Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds and work in tight spaces
- Excellent client communication and time management skills
