Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drains
- Install new plumbing components following local codes and safety standards
- Respond to emergency calls with 24/7 availability for urgent repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections for commercial clients
- Estimate project costs and provide transparent quotes to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of tools/materials
- Collaborate with team members on complex multi-trade projects
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Valid Illinois plumbing license or equivalent certification
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and pipefitting equipment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in emergency situations
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Flexibility for weekend/evening shifts
