Responsibilities
- Assist senior plumbers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings under supervision.
- Perform basic pipefitting tasks, including measuring, cutting, and threading pipes.
- Identify and troubleshoot common plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding job progress and requirements.
- Operate and maintain various plumbing tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
