Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems for large-scale AI model training and inference.
- R&D Strategy: Lead research initiatives focused on multimodal AI, reinforcement learning, and efficient transformer architectures.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Production Deployment: Oversee the deployment of AI models to cloud infrastructure, optimizing for latency, cost, and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate abstract research into tangible product features.
- Technical Roadmap: Define the technical vision and roadmap for the 2026 AI stack, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on AI/ML systems architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow. Strong understanding of distributed computing (Kubernetes, Spark, Ray).
- Language Proficiency: Native fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, high-complexity technical problems.
- Creativity: Ability to think creatively about the future of technology and AI implementation.
