Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Roadmap: Lead the end-to-end technical strategy for the 2026 platform, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals and emerging tech trends.
- System Design: Design and oversee the implementation of complex distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of senior engineers and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical debt and scalability bottlenecks, implementing solutions to mitigate risks before the 2026 launch.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with product managers to define feature requirements.
- Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, Quantum Computing, and Edge Computing to integrate relevant technologies into our core stack.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Technical Stack: Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and modern programming languages (Go, Rust, or Python).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value.
- Innovation: Passionate about emerging technologies and a demonstrated ability to prototype and integrate new technologies.
