Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI Systems: Design and deploy robust, scalable machine learning infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data streams.
- Lead Research Initiatives: Drive the core research roadmap for Project 2026, focusing on Large Language Model (LLM) optimization and multimodal understanding.
- Model Optimization: Implement cutting-edge techniques such as quantization, pruning, and distillation to reduce latency and improve inference speed.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate complex research findings into user-centric AI solutions.
- Ethical AI Advocacy: Establish and enforce guidelines for responsible AI development, ensuring fairness, transparency, and safety in all deployed models.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with a focus on AI/ML.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in machine learning research or systems engineering.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. Experience with distributed computing frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes) is essential.
- Research Background: A strong publication record (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR) or a proven track record in high-impact open-source contributions.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and derive innovative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
