Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for machine learning applications and optimization problems.
- Integrate quantum processors with classical neural networks to create hybrid AI models.
- Conduct research into emerging quantum hardware and software libraries (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists.
- Optimize quantum circuits to minimize error rates and maximize computational throughput.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in quantum computing best practices.
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on quantum information.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ, etc.).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying quantum workloads.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental environment.
