Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI acceleration
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum neural network architectures
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure $2M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Develop patentable quantum-AI methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or similar
- Expertise in Python/C++ and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM/AWS Braket)
- Proven track record of securing research funding
