Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Develop proprietary quantum neural network frameworks
- Secure research grants and publish findings in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Partner with industry leaders to translate research into commercial solutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (post-doc preferred)
- 3+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience securing government or corporate research funding
