Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for computational acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical neural networks
- Research error correction techniques for practical quantum computing applications
- Develop novel optimization methods for quantum AI training pipelines
- Collaborate with hardware teams to align software with quantum processor capabilities
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at global tech conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years implementing quantum algorithms using frameworks like Qiskit or Cirq
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow) and high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum machine learning or related fields
- Strong mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from concept to deployment
