Job Description
Are you ready to define the architecture of tomorrow? FutureCore Systems is pioneering the next era of computational intelligence, and we are seeking a visionary Quantum Algorithm Architect to join our elite research division in San Francisco.
As we approach the pivotal year of 2026, the boundary between classical and quantum processing is dissolving. In this role, you will be responsible for designing the algorithms that will power the world's most complex systems—from real-time neural interface processing to hyper-secure decentralized networks. You will work at the intersection of theoretical physics and software engineering, pushing the limits of what is computationally possible.
If you possess a deep understanding of quantum mechanics and a passion for scalable software architecture, we want to hear from you. Join us in building the foundation for the digital age of 2026 and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cutting-edge quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, and custom hybrid frameworks.
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence and system stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, hardware engineers, and AI researchers to bridge the gap between theory and production.
- Mentor junior developers and researchers in best practices for quantum software development and deployment.
- Conduct rigorous performance analysis to reduce latency and improve throughput in quantum processing units (QPUs).
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging technologies in topological quantum computing and neuromorphic hardware.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in developing quantum software or simulating quantum systems.
- Deep proficiency in Python, C++, and assembly-level programming for hardware interfaces.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, complex numbers, and quantum mechanics principles.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Google Quantum AI) is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
