Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with physicists to translate quantum hardware capabilities into efficient algorithmic solutions
- Implement and test quantum algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, and other quantum frameworks
- Optimize quantum circuits for minimal decoherence and maximum computational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Publish research in top-tier quantum computing conferences and journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit/Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum error correction
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing research
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex computational problems
