Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting and photonic systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and AI acceleration
- Establish quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity for commercial deployment
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for real-time industrial problem solving
- Secure $5M+ in quantum research grants through NIH, NSF, and DARPA partnerships
- Mentor junior researchers while publishing breakthrough findings in Nature/Science journals
- Drive quantum cloud platform integration with AWS, Azure, and Google Quantum AI
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record in quantum algorithm design with published research in top-tier journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, topological, or LDPC)
