Responsibilities
- Architect quantum error correction protocols for 1,000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead patent creation for novel quantum hardware interfaces
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and physicists
- Partner with NASA, MIT, and IBM on quantum supremacy projects
- Design cryogenic control systems with sub-10mK stability
- Present quantum roadmap to C-suite and government agencies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit manipulation
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of scaling quantum systems beyond 100 qubits
- Deep understanding of topological quantum computing models
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DOE clearance
