Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to optimize real-world problem-solving
- Lead integration of quantum processors with existing cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quantum computing roadmaps
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in emerging systems
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming best practices
- Present quantum computing breakthroughs to C-suite stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing systems or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or other quantum development frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) quantum services
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
