Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving complex optimization problems
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and qubit stabilization techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical computing infrastructure
- Quantify performance metrics for quantum advantage benchmarks across industry verticals
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Secure and manage quantum computing patents for commercial applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of publishing quantum computing research in top-tier journals
- Strong background in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical quantum solutions
