Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation and optimization
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum applications for enterprise clients
- Publish findings in leading quantum computing journals and conferences
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging quantum technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with quantum focus
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerance principles
- Published research in quantum computing or related quantum information fields
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical solutions
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
