Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors operating at 99.9% fidelity
- Create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for solving optimization problems in finance and logistics
- Lead quantum algorithm development for machine learning applications with 1000+ qubit systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical supercomputing infrastructure
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography implementations
- Document quantum system architectures and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction codes
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
